Beyond Pluto, there's a lot more

Gifts for people who know Pluto isn't alone.

Minimalist posters, tees and mugs, hand-finished 3D-printed models of Eris, Haumea and Sedna, and classroom printables, all built around the far-out worlds at the edge of our solar system.

What we make

Good-looking science, not novelty clutter

Every design starts from published NASA and ESA-type data, then gets stripped back to clean lines and honest numbers.

Dwarf Planets Explained

Meet the worlds beyond the eight planets

The International Astronomical Union recognises five dwarf planets. Several more large bodies are strong candidates. Pick one to read the short version.

Figures are rounded and drawn from public NASA, ESA and IAU sources. Sizes and orbits of distant objects are refined as new observations come in.

Size & distance

How big, and how far out?

Two quick charts. Diameters are drawn to a straight scale. Distances use a square-root scale, otherwise Ceres would vanish next to Sedna.

Diameter (km)

Earth's Moon is 3,474 km across, for reference.

Average distance from the Sun (AU)

1 AU is the Earth–Sun distance, about 150 million km.

Beginner telescopes

The ones we'd actually recommend to a first-time buyer. Honest note: you won't see Eris through a home scope, but the Moon and Jupiter's moons are brilliant.

About

A small UK shop with a big orbit

Dwarf Planet Gifts began with a simple annoyance: most space merch stops at Pluto, and the facts on it are often wrong. We wanted something good-looking and correct.

Reece designs and prints the 3D models. Our designs, charts and fact sheets are original, and every number comes from public NASA, ESA and IAU material, put into our own words.

News about distant worlds will come and go, so the range is built around evergreen space gifts, not just whatever's trending.

"My Year 6 class argued about Eris for a whole lesson. The scale chart made the distances click in a way our textbook never did."

Hannah R., primary school teacher
